La Massana does not have its own ski area. An elevator and ski buses connect the resort with the Pal Arinsal station, which is part of the Vallnord ski region. There are 49 slopes: 7 green, 16 blue, 17 red, 4 black, and 5 slalom slopes certified by FIS. Their length is 63 kilometers, 45% of them are equipped with snow cannons, allowing for quality coverage in all weather conditions.
There are two areas for freeride, one for freestyle, one for slalom, and one fan park. Transportation between the slopes is provided by 31 elevators with a total capacity of 38,480 people per hour. There is a ski school, rental stores, shops, restaurants, bars, and barbecue areas. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the area.
From the city of Andorra la Vella, La Massana is separated by only 7 kilometers. The drive there takes about 10 minutes, so guests of the resort often visit the nightclubs and bars of the capital in the evenings.
Those who enjoy good food will appreciate La Massana. There are many restaurants offering Catalan and French cuisine, and also regularly held culinary festivals: Winter Cuisine Days, La Massana Fogons Gastronomic Days, and Flavors of the World.
