Guide to Sincuerim

Virtual tour in Sincuerim

Sinquerim, situated only 15 kilometers from Panaji and located on the opposite side of the Mandovi River's mouth, boasts a clean and narrow beach bordered by picturesque palm groves that are perfect for leisurely strolls. Visitors to this resort can indulge in a variety of beach activities and water sports, including surfing, diving, parasailing, snorkeling, and observing the lively boat and yacht traffic along the coast. Sinquerim also offers noteworthy attractions, such as the stone fort of Aguada near the river, a mountain-top lighthouse, a church, and Indian shrines. The combination of stunning natural scenery and excellent hotel services makes it an appealing destination. While Sinquerim may not offer anything particularly extraordinary, it provides an opportunity to explore another charming Goan resort. It's worth a visit if only to catch a glimpse of the famous shipwreck, the River Princess, with its eerie post-apocalyptic silhouette. Abandoned off the coast between Sinquerim and Candolim, it remains a fascinating attraction for adventurous tourists. However, if you prefer a more relaxed experience, you can simply relax on the pristine sandy beaches and enjoy the beautiful sunsets, sun, and sea.
