Feofaniia

A wonderful place to escape the city hustle. Here you'll find beautiful lakes (who wanted to feed the fish and ducks?), and lush green meadows where you can endlessly chill, enjoy crispy toasts, and have heartfelt conversations about important matters and little things. Craving baked vegetables or aromatic steaks? Easy! Tables and grills are available for rent, and firewood and coal are sold on-site. There's also a children's playground, so the little ones can take a break from their phones and tablets (though that's not guaranteed).

Address: Akademika Lebedeva St, 32.

How to get there: Take marshrutka №548 from the "Exhibition Center" metro station.

Holosiiv National Nature Park

Here, sandwiches taste twice as good, and meat is three times better! For barbecue enthusiasts, the park offers rental of pavilions, grills, and sells firewood. There are also plenty of activities. You can ride a bike, swim in a boat or a catamaran, and just breathe in the fresh air. Holosiivskyi Park features several ancient oaks, lakes full of ducks, and happy squirrels running around. Some visitors even manage to feed them by hand (though, only if the squirrels are in a good mood).

Address: General Rodimtsev St, 6a.

How to get there: Take trolleybuses №11, 12, 43 or buses №416, 444, 507 from the "Holosiivska" metro station.

Don't forget to bring badminton, a ball, or a frisbee. Near the gazebos, there is a meadow for those who love active recreation. By the way, this is a favorite spot for those who never participate in cooking the meat but regularly and curiously ask, "Is it ready yet? How about now?"
