Mahe is the largest island in the Seychelles archipelago and is home to Victoria, one of the world's smallest capital cities with a permanent population of only 26,000.
The island boasts a total of 68 beautiful beaches. Among them, Beau Vallon stands out, located just three kilometers from Victoria. Beau Vallon offers a lively nightlife and provides all the amenities you'd need for a vacation, including shops, cafes, gas stations, and ATMs. Another stunning beach on Mahe is Anse Intendance, a sandy arc framed by swaying coconut palms.
Mahe offers a range of water sports for enthusiasts, including diving, snorkeling, surfing, and windsurfing. For beginners, there are schools that provide instruction in these water activities. Beyond the beaches, you can embark on excursions along the coast or to neighboring islands by yacht or motorboat.
One of the top attractions on Mahe is the St. Anne's National Marine Park, encompassing six islands, some of which are uninhabited, while others have hotels. Tour groups are transported to this park on special yachts with transparent bottoms, offering the chance to observe the marine life beneath the waves.
