Veysonnaz is part of the 4 Vallées ski area, which is the largest in Switzerland and the third largest in Europe. This ski paradise offers over 400 kilometers of slopes of varying difficulty levels and is serviced by 92 ski lifts. With 214 snow cannons, the slopes here have excellent snow coverage in all weather conditions. Additionally, there are four snow parks and seven freeride routes for enthusiasts.
There are two types of ski passes available. The Printsesector pass grants access to 220 kilometers of slopes and 50 ski lifts in the resorts of Veysonnaz, Thyon, Nendaz, and La Tzoumaz. The Sector 4 Vallées/Mont-Fort pass allows skiing across the entire Four Valleys area.
Veysonnaz is not only popular among tourists from various countries but also attracts professional athletes. The resort boasts the Piste de l'Ours ("Bear") track, where World Cup competitions are held. This track starts at the top of Mont Rouge mountain and winds through the forest just above the village. Every March, freeride competitions sponsored by the Red Bull brand take place in this area.
During your stay in Veysonnaz, you can enjoy activities like snowshoeing, skiing, hiking, horseback riding, sledding, and even tandem paragliding with an instructor.
