1) This is the largest airport in the Dominican Republic, Punto Cana, with a 3100 meter concrete runway and new taxiways under construction. Management plans to build an additional runway to expand passenger traffic. Currently, Punto Cana's passenger traffic is more than 4 million passengers per year. Passengers can count on a good level of service, a small but attractive in price Duty Free, to the services of the business class are offered conference rooms and accommodation with an increased level of comfort. The airport is decorated in a classic national style with landscaped park areas.
2) Las Americas in San Domingo is focused on international flights from the Americas. The runway of 3500 meters allows to receive large aircraft.
3) The new El Catey International Airport was built in 2006 and mainly receives flights from Canada and the USA (New York). The El Catey airport's 45 meters wide and 3000 meters long runway is oriented to receive Boeing-747s. The passenger terminal has a capacity of 1,500 passengers.
