The Orphanage

Years later, Laura returns to the large mansion that used to be a functioning children's orphanage. This is where she herself was raised, and so the heroine wants to buy the building and open its doors to children with developmental difficulties. Soon Laura settled there with her adopted son Simon. The boy tells his mother that he has met a certain Thomas, and Laura dismisses him as a figment of a child's imagination. But when her son disappears without a trace during the opening party, having gone to meet his new friend, she is forced to believe in his reality. Unable to get help from the police, the woman begins her own investigation, during which she will uncover several terrifying secrets from the past and encounter inexplicable things.
The premiere of this mystical film, produced by Oscar winner Guillermo del Toro, was met with a 10-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival.

The film tells the story of a guy named Kevin, who is unsuccessfully being treated for multiple personality disorder. His mind is home to 23 different personalities, and not all of them are friendly. One day, Kevin kidnaps three teenage girls from a shopping center parking lot: Claire, Marcia, and Casey. The girls do not immediately realize that their kidnapper is ill. Casey tries to establish contact with Kevin in order to escape captivity and learns from him that there is another undisclosed, semi-mythical entity called the Beast. The girls will become victims, destined to awaken this Beast and give it the power to reveal itself to the world.
The thriller Split is a continuation of the film series created by M. Night Shyamalan, which also includes the films Unbreakable and Glass.

Tell No One

Many years ago, Alexander experienced a terrible tragedy. During an attack on his wife Margo, while trying to save her, he was injured and fell into a lake. Subsequently, Alexander himself was saved by an unknown person, and Margo was recognized as a victim of a notorious serial killer. This case resurfaces when the police find two unidentified bodies at the bottom of that same lake. The hero encounters several secrets from his wife's past and even begins to suspect that she may still be alive. Meanwhile, he himself becomes the main suspect in the case.
One of the film's producers is the famous French director Luc Besson, and the director is French actor Guillaume Canet, for whom the film is the second directorial work in his career.

The plot of the sci-fi thriller Time Error centers on three friends, Kelly, Finn, and Jasper, who live in the same apartment. One day, the friends are asked to check on an apartment in the building across the street, whose windows face theirs. The owner of the apartment has not been seen for a long time and has stopped paying his bills. Upon entering, the characters discover an amazing photo machine that prints pictures every day, predicting the events of the following day. At first, this discovery benefits each of them, but then leads to unexpected consequences in their lives.
The film is an independent project financed exclusively by its creators. Therefore, the screenwriters tried to write a plot that would not require large expenses.

During a business trip to Berlin, Dr. Martin Harris is involved in a car accident. Due to his injuries, he spends several days in a coma. When he wakes up, he finds his wife and tries to return to his life. But it turns out that a completely different person is now living under his name and with his documents in his hotel room. What's more, Martin's wife and all his friends don't recognize him. Harris doesn't know where to go or who to turn to in order to reclaim his identity. Now his only friend is Gina, a taxi driver and former Stasi agent. She helps the protagonist recover everything that happened during his blackout and find clues that will lead to those responsible for what happened. This is not so easy, considering that Martin is constantly being targeted by hired killers.
The film is an adaptation of the novel Out of Mind by French writer Didier van Coven.

Cloverfield 10

After arguing with her boyfriend, Michelle recklessly throws her things into her car and drives away from the city on a night highway. On the way, she gets into a car accident after colliding with an old pickup truck. She wakes up handcuffed to a wall. Then the heroine meets her savior, an elderly eccentric man named Howard. He tells her that she is in his bunker, built in preparation for the coming apocalypse. He claims that the time has come—, he says, the air on Earth is filled with deadly poison, and bloodthirsty aliens are rampaging across the world. Soon, Michelle meets another inhabitant of the bunker, a simple-minded guy named Emmet, who believes everything the shelter's owner says. The girl refuses to stay in hiding and realizes that she cannot trust Howard. But it is still difficult for her to figure out what he says is true and what is just a figment of his imagination.
The title of the film was not disclosed until filming was completed. Even the actors who starred in the film did not know it until the very end. The existence of the film became known less than two months before its release.

The main character of the black comedy Filth is Edinburgh cop Bruce Robertson, who is far from being a model of morality and professionalism. Of course, he dreams of getting a long-awaited promotion, for example, for solving a high-profile murder case. And Bruce tries to conduct an investigation, but he is constantly distracted by drugs, a dissolute lifestyle, and quarrels with his own wife. He secretly pits other contenders against each other, ruins their reputation in the eyes of management, and stoops to blackmail and prank calls. Meanwhile, his colleagues are keeping a close eye on Bruce, suspecting that he is having serious mental health issues.
The film is an adaptation of the novel by the scandalous Scottish writer Irvine Welsh.

As part of his job, psychiatrist Sam Foster interacts daily with a multitude of patients suffering from various mental disorders. What's more, he plans to commit suicide on his 21st birthday, which is just around the corner. Not wanting to let this happen, Foster turns to his partner for help, who herself survived a suicide attempt. So they find themselves drawn into a strange story in which reality is closely intertwined with the fantasies of a young man who wants to attract attention.
Initially, it was planned that cult director David Fincher would direct the film, but he was later replaced by Marc Foster.
