The beaches of Fosha, like Gondar, which we are going to tell you about, are located along the picturesque promenade leading from the Farolim de Felgueiras lighthouse to the beaches of Motuzinhos. This is a chain of beaches that do not have the typical white sand, they are more of a yellow hue, but that makes them no less beautiful. Safety on the beach is marked by a blue flag signaling that it is safe to swim in the ocean that day.

If you get tired of splashing in the Atlantic, swim in the rocky natural pools and numerous small lagoons. Then head to one of the area cafes and restaurants - order a coffee or a glass of Portuguese wine.

Another enjoyable part of the experience is the drive here, especially if you take streetcar #1 from Ribeira. The vintage streetcar rides along the riverfront, offering great views.
