To Italy from €10: the cheapest ways to get there

From Romania

It is not as easy to get to Romania from Ukraine as to Poland, as there are no international trains in this direction. One of them: take a train to Chernivtsi, then take a bus to the Romanian city of Suceava, from where there are direct trains to Bucharest and Iasi.

From March 1, 2024 a special air transfer to the airport "Chisinau" (Moldova) is launched from Odessa. The ticket price is 800 hryvnias. Military personnel and their family members, persons with disabilities, war veterans and combatants will receive a 50% discount.

There are also options to travel to Italy by bus, prices for departure from Kyiv, Lviv, Uzhgorod, etc., start from €$120 (one way), and these trips last about 30 hours - only one way. The savings are not too significant, for most destinations it will be €$10-50 and can hardly compensate for the time spent on the road. Therefore, we recommend choosing an airplane from border countries.
