Guide to Alcudia

The cozy resort of Alcudia is located on the coast of the island of Majorca, not far from its capital. Alcudia is surrounded by wonderful beaches, where families with children will be delighted to find ample shallow water for swimming with their little ones. At the same time, the underwater world of Alcudia attracts the attention of divers, and the wind coming into the bay of the resort is enough to lift windsurfers on the wing.

Pine trees grow around the resort, descending in some places right down to the coast and creating shade over the bays. And adjoining Alcudia closely is the Albufera Natural Park. This huge park, spread over 2,500 hectares, is home to countless birds. The bay is sheltered from the wind by Cape Formentor, which offers a magnificent view of the sea.

Alcudia itself is divided into two parts by a rather powerful highway. There are two centers in the city, where tourist excitement gathers. This is the so-called "Golden Mile", and the port. Here is almost all the entertainment infrastructure of the resort, including restaurants and water park. From Alcudia 3 kilometers to Alcanada Golf Club, which is known throughout Mallorca.

Three kilometers deep into the island is the old town of Alcudia, which is now completely turned into an open-air museum.
