Guide to Estepona

Estepona is rightly considered one of the most beautiful towns on Spain's Costa del Sol. It is a quiet cozy resort, offering its guests privacy and the opportunity to relax, favor, remote from the city and from each other hotels of the coastal zone as best as possible contribute to such relaxation.

Estepona is built in the classic Andalusian style with an abundance of small houses of white color, wrapped in green gardens.

Once upon a time, this city was the site of a bloody bullfight. Now the former bullfighting square has been transformed into the Square of Flowers. Flower beds and orange trees surround every café here, and for most of the year the square is really buried in flowers. And you can learn about the traditions of bullfighting at the Bullfighting Museum, located nearby.

Another iconic point of Estepona is the city's harbor. Here you will find many yachts and boats, you can go sailing yourself or watch professional yachtsmen do it.

If you find yourself in Estepona in the cold season, then be sure to visit one of the city's festivals. The largest of them is the carnival procession in honor of the Feast of the Three Kings, which begins on January 6.
