Public Transportation in Åre
Åre is a ski resort comprising several districts spread several kilometers apart. To enhance convenience, the city authorities have introduced a dedicated ski bus service connecting all districts, serving the five villages from 09:00 to 22:00.

Transportation in Åre includes not only buses but also elevators. The elevator hours are as follows: - Season opening to February 7: 9:00-15:30 - February 8 to May 1: 9:00-16:30 - May 2 to May 5: 9:00-15:00 - May 6 to May 12: 9:00-15:00
Purchasing an elevator pass also grants you free daytime transportation on the ski bus between the hotels and elevators. An additional fare is applicable for the ski bus service in the evening.
Visitors to this ski resort can also explore the area using reindeer or dog sleds, as well as snowmobiles.
