Routes to the center
Tip for tourists on transportation in Yerevan: to get to the center, look for the word օպերա ("Opera") on the sign - this means stopping near the Opera House. Prices in Yerevan transportation are AMD 100 within the capital, pay at the exit.
If tourists don't like public transportation, there is always an option to order a cab (the average bill rarely exceeds AMD 1,000, but the cost of the service should be negotiated in advance - not all cars have meters). Renting a cab for the whole day will cost from 10,000 AMD.
