Ischgl occupies an almost borderline position among Austria's ski resorts on the country's map. It is close to Switzerland and can be reached from Ischgl by simply driving down one of the slopes. Ischgl neighbors two ski resorts on the map - the Austrian Silvretta and the Swiss Samnaun.
