And yet it retains the quiet charm of an Austrian town. Informal and friendly people, upscale hotels, delicious local cuisine, and, of course, ski slopes for every taste - that's what Mayrhofen is.

The cost of trips here is quite high. For a regular trip you will pay about 900-1200 EUR, hot tours cost less. The best options are much more expensive, but for a lot of money you get quite a luxurious pastime.

Economically and quite pleasantly spend a vacation in Mayrhofen is more than realistic. Be sure to go on a sightseeing tour of the old Zillertal railroad. The natural protected lands around are interesting, primarily in the summer and early fall.

Usually the price drops in the off-season, for example, in April or October. The cheapest tours can be found for 700-900 EUR, and sightseeing options for a few days, and even less. Although in case of romantic Mayrhofen it is better to stay at least for a week.
