Natal, often referred to as the "Sun City," lives up to its name with 300 days of sunshine per year, making it an excellent destination for a vacation at almost any time. The resort boasts ten sandy beaches, with Ponta Negra being one of the most acclaimed. It's a favorite spot for affluent Brazilians and resort guests, offering all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Ponta Negra also features the region's highest sand dune, Morro do Careca. Water sports enthusiasts, including diving and windsurfing enthusiasts, should head to the Pipa area south of Natal, where you'll find equipment rentals and numerous schools with experienced instructors. In Natal itself, you can rent a buggy with a driver for an exciting coastal adventure (costing around 360 BRL per day). The main attraction in the resort is the Three Kings Fortress, also known as Forte dos Reis Magos. This star-shaped fortification is rightfully considered one of the city's most beautiful and memorable landmarks. Over the years, the fort has served as a military headquarters, a prison, and the city government's office. It's situated on the water and can be reached via a dedicated pedestrian path.
