The city center isn’t the only noteworthy place in Sharm el-Sheikh! Here’s a look at the main interesting streets and squares:
A great spot for young people is Naama Bay, one of the most famous and popular streets in the neighborhood of the same name. There are plenty of clubs, cafes, shops, and restaurants here.
Soho Square in the Sharks Bay district is a great place for walks, shopping, and evening entertainment. There’s an ice rink and evening shows.
El Salam Road is one of the liveliest streets, with plenty of shops and restaurants—both tourist-oriented and local.
The Hadaba neighborhood is known for its beautiful views. It’s a great choice if you want to go somewhere to admire the surroundings.
Museums and Exhibitions
Sharm el-Sheikh isn’t exactly a museum hub, but there’s still plenty to see! Here are the main museums worth visiting, especially if you have at least two days to spare:
The National Museum in Sharm el-Sheikh is still under development, but it’s definitely worth a visit. It’s the first museum of antiquities in South Sinai.
The Papyrus Museum is a unique place with a huge exhibition of paintings on genuine papyrus.
The Aquarium Museum is a new museum dedicated to marine flora and fauna, as well as the conservation of coral reefs.
Religious Architecture

The main observation decks offering magnificent views of the local landscape are located in Ras Mohammed Park and on Mount Sinai. There’s a beautiful terrace near Soho Square. And in the El Fanar area, there’s an observation deck with a restaurant.
