What are the biggest airports in this amazing country? Among all the major airports, the following can be highlighted:

• Baku Heydar Aliyev Airport. This is the main airport on the territory of the country, which meets all the necessary standards. It is located near the city of Baku and has two runways. The latter can take even heavy airplanes without problems. It is a strip of asphalt 4 thousand meters long and 80 meters wide, as well as a strip of reinforced concrete 3,200 meters by 51 meters.
• Ganja Airport. This complex is one of the main international airports in Azerbaijan. It is located in the city of the same name, has two large runways for full reception of heavy aircraft.
• Gabala Airport. This international airport of Azerbaijan is located in the northern part of the country near the city of Gabala. It began its work in 2011 and today has one terminal. Nevertheless, this complex is constantly expanding and developing.
