Belek can easily be called one of the greenest and cleanest cities in Turkey. It is relatively small and young - in 1984 it became one of the first resorts in Turkey. Entertainment in Belek provides mainly hotels. Almost every major complex has a golf course, the most popular sport in Belek. Equestrianism is also popular in the resort. Many hotels have their own stables and provide rental equipment.
