Megève is one of the most prestigious ski resorts in France. It is ideal for family vacations, which is confirmed by the Famille Plus quality label. The ski schools have experienced instructors who successfully work with the youngest guests of the resort.
There are about 125 kilometers of slopes of different levels of difficulty and 78 elevators at the disposal of athletes. The Evasion skiing area includes three mountain ranges: Rochebrune-Cote 2000, Mont d`Arbois and Le Jaillet, all of which are available on one ski pass. If that's not enough for you, buy a MONT BLANC Unlimited pass, which covers Evasion, the Chamonix Valley, the Italian resorts of Courmayeur and Funivier Monte Bianco, Swiss Verbier and the Four Valleys.
The steepest and most challenging slopes for the pros are in the Mont Joly and Mont Joux areas. There are some black slopes in the Cote 2000 area, but they are quite short. The slopes of Mont d`Arbois, Combloux and Jaillet, as well as the area around the Grand Vorasse elevator are suitable for intermediate athletes. For beginners, there is plenty of room in Megève, with suitable slopes in all its corners. The best areas to learn are Rochebrune-Mont d'Arbois and Princesse, which have separate ski passes.
