Since many headquarters of international organizations work in the city, security in Strasbourg is high and a tourist has practically nothing to fear. It is enough to observe elementary rules of behavior: do not show large sums of money in crowded places, keep an eye on your bags, purses and pockets.

You should also avoid entering dangerous areas of Strasbourg - industrial areas on the outskirts of the city and the neighborhoods adjacent to them.
