At the Val Thorens ski resort, you can take skiing lessons. To do this, simply register at one of the four specialized schools. Experienced ski instructors will thoroughly teach you the basics and, if needed, provide lessons not only in French but also in English.
In addition to classic alpine skiing, you can also learn snowboarding, freestyle, freeride, join organized snowshoe hikes, or take part in torch-lit night skiing sessions.
You can also attend such specialized schools with children. An hour of private lessons costs around 70–80 EUR. It is also possible to purchase a group three-day course for 150–200 EUR. The price for training varies depending on the school you choose.
