In the ski resort of Val Thorens you can learn to ski. All you need to do is enrol in one of four specialized ski schools. Experienced ski instructors will show you the basics of skiing in detail and, if necessary, give ski lessons not only in French, but also in English or Russian.
In addition to alpine skiing, it is also possible to learn snowboarding, freestyle skiing, freeride skiing, to attend organized snowshoe hikes or to take part in a nighttime torchlight ride.
You can also visit such a specialized school with children. An hour of individual lessons in such an institution will cost 49 EUR. It is also possible to buy a group three-day course for 89 EUR. The price range for training varies depending on which school you choose for training.
