There are quite a few paths that have been prepared especially for tourists. They are paved and stretch between hills and houses. For example, you can choose Ubud walking routes that include the Ulun Ubud trail (aka Sacred Place Of Ubud or simply Trekking).
Art galleries, cafes, museums and exhibitions - your walking routes around Ubud won't be monotonous. It's easy to get on one of the trails. The Ubud hiking trail starts near the bridge and restaurant Bridge. Walk from here towards the center, on the left side will be a signboard of the hotel Ibah, from it the path leads to the temple.
In front of the temple, just after the bridge, there is an inconspicuous path, which is exactly what you need. This is not the only route you can take. Get a map and Ubud will reveal most of its secrets. Many routes start from Ubud's main street, JalanRayaUbud.
