Choreographer Thomas Leroy admits that the ballerina is perfect for the role of the white swan, but lacks the passion for the black swan. The girl tries with all her might to prove that she can handle both roles. But this self-sacrifice may cost her her sanity.
The lead role in the film earned Natalie Portman many prestigious awards, including an Oscar and a Golden Globe.
