Together with the New England Residential Complex, we decided to find out what the "English way of life" means, how the new generation sees it, and how to experience it without traveling to the UK.
How is the English way of life organized?
Is it stiff London or aristocratic Oxford, or maybe industrial Manchester or Liverpool - the city of The Beatles? British life doesn't vary too much from region to region. Throughout England, life is dimensional and fuss-free. The British value their time, so they try to find work closer to home, so that they can get to the office in no more than 15-20 minutes and do not waste time on the road. The working day mostly ends by 17:00, taking into account that by 18:00 you still need to have time to prepare dinner. Traditions are sacred!
