For example, in August the city hosts a large jazz festival, and in mid-September its streets and concert halls are filled with the sounds of classical melodies. Not to mention the street musicians that can be found here almost every day.

8. Lemon Orchards and the real Limoncello

Traveling along the coast, you will occasionally come across the lemon orchards that line the entire Amalfi. They give incredible aromas to all guests and generous fruits to their owners, who, in turn, create the main drink of the coast - the famous limoncello liqueur. Tasting and buying a couple of bottles to take home with you is something that all lovers of this drink should definitely do. And in the summertime, you have a chance to attend one of Amalfi's many lemon festivals.

Just off the coast of Amalfi, on the road from Naples. In the immediate vicinity of the Amalfi coast, on the way from Naples, you have the opportunity to see two of Italy's iconic sites: Vesuvius, one of the world's most dangerous volcanoes, and Pompeii, a city that fell victim to the volcano and has become a legend.
