Nenda is part of the Four Valleys ski area, so by staying there, all 118 pistes totaling 412 kilometers are available to every skier. Specifically, the ski runs in Nenda consist of 2 black runs, 8 red runs, and 6 blue runs, totaling 17 runs in total. There are 92 elevators leading to them, and the altitude difference ranges from 1400 to 3300 meters.
For cross-country skiers, there are pistes of varying difficulty, with a total length of 12 kilometers of cross-country terrain.
From Nenda, you can take a gondola up to Trasocet Park, which offers a snow park, fan park, restaurant, playgrounds, and more. It serves as the starting point for Nenda's other ski slopes and is a great place for beginners to learn.
To return, you can descend via the red piste or use the rope tow elevator, although it doesn't reach Nenda. Alternatively, you can use the rope tow elevator at Dent De Nendaz and descend on the blue piste.
Below the gondola, you'll find the snow park with various rails and shapes of different difficulty levels. More experienced skiers can head to the right of the gondola on the Prarion Sport Piste, which runs through a sparsely forested area. It's also possible to climb to Plan du Fou from this piste. However, it's important to note that the ski slopes in Nenda from this point onward are not groomed; they only have markings, natural bumps, and a steep gradient.
The Siviez area is easily accessible from Nenda via the red piste from Plan du Fou. If you're fortunate enough to have fresh snow cover, you can ski directly under the chairlift and rope tow. From Siviez, you can reach Mont Faure, Veillon, Thionne, or Verbier. However, be prepared for challenging slopes on the way back. If you've had enough skiing, there's a bus to Nendu departing every 20 minutes from the station.
In addition to skiing, the resort offers 9 mountain bike trails of varying difficulty during the summer. In the winter, skiers can enjoy heli-skiing, which involves a helicopter ride to the ski slopes.
