Basic UAE Customs Regulations.

  • No more than 4l of alcoholic beverages or 2 blocks of beer in Dubai
  • No more than 2 liters of alcoholic beverages in Abu Dhabi

The list of how much alcohol you can take out of the UAE is not regulated by local law.

  • Homemade food
  • Counterfeit money

The UAE customs is organized on the principle of green and red corridor. If a tourist does not have with him goods subject to mandatory declaration, he passes through the green corridor. Otherwise, he is obliged to fill out a declaration in the red corridor. Depending on the Emirate, customs rules may vary slightly.
