The UAE is a relatively young state, which was formed in 1972. It is not difficult to count that the state consists of seven emirates. The southern regions of the UAE are represented by impassable desert. Here you can rarely meet tourists, as the infrastructure is not developed. In the east of the country there is a rocky plateau, which passes into the Hajar Mountains.

There is only one emirate in the eastern part of the country - Fujairah.
