  • The import and withdrawal of currency in Belgium are subject to limitations. Without additional declaration, you can carry or bring in cash up to a total amount of 10,000 EUR.

  • The list of permissible items for import by airplane to Belgium includes: Cigarettes (200 pcs) or 50 cigars or 250 g of tobacco, 2 liters of wine, 1 liter of stronger alcohol, coffee (500 g) and tea (100 g), perfume (50 ml), toilet water (250 ml), and personal items. If you seek more detailed information on the import and export of alcohol in Belgium, under general customs rules, it does not exceed 1 liter of spirits with an alcohol content of up to 22 percent. Importing up to two liters of fortified wines, including champagne and table wine, is also allowed.
  • The list of prohibited items for import and export to Belgium includes: narcotic substances, weapons (including stabbing and cutting objects), pornographic materials, fresh fruits and vegetables, plants and seeds, honey, meat, milk, eggs, and animals without proper documentation.
