The fact that the resort is located on the shore of the calm bay of Nessebar Bay reflects on the water temperature in the Black Sea in this area. During the summer months, the water temperature in the Black Sea does not drop below +23°C. By the second half of September, the water becomes cooler but still suitable for swimming.

It should be noted that it is the protection of the coastline of Obzor from the cool continental winds that influence the temperature of the Black Sea water. That is why the water in Obzor is several degrees warmer than in the neighbouring resorts Albena and Golden Sands.
