Climate in Sveti Vlas

The warmest time in the city is from June to September, the coldest month is February. Quite high summer temperatures are perfectly smoothed by the light sea breeze, which is a regular guest on the local coast. In general, the weather in the resort disposes to long walks in the evening and enjoy beach vacations during the day. The abundance of sunny days makes the rainy season in Sveti Vlas very short.

The vegetation and fauna of St. Vlas

Like all Bulgarian resort towns, St. Vlas is immersed in the greenery of vineyards and colorful seaside vegetation. The mountainous terrain of Stara Planina is covered with pine forests that exude healing phytoncides. Bulgarian forests are beautiful in their diversity: there are perennial pines, mighty oaks, beeches, hornbeams, lindens and others.

The main inhabitants of local forests are bearded eagles, pheasants and grouse. You'll be amazed at how many species of butterflies you can see in Sveti Vlas - there are over 1000 species of butterflies in Bulgaria.
