Vancouver's transportation is considered to be a bit behind other cities in the country. That being said, public transportation in Vancouver is represented by trolleybuses, buses, an elevated subway line SkyTrain, the West Coast Express rail line, and the SeaBus ferry. Vancouver's extensive public transit network connects all areas of the city and is represented by the mainly by the state carrier TransLink. By the way, the transportation SkyTrain surface subway system is considered to be the world's longest automated transportation system.
