Walking routes in Vancouver traditionally pass through the downtown, where the historic part of the city is concentrated. First of all, tourists walk through the Gastown neighborhood, the very place where the city began to grow. They must visit the ancient stone cathedral of the Anglican Church. Virtually all of Vancouver's hiking trails pass through the huge Chinatown, the part of the city where people of South Asian descent live in South Asian countries.
Vancouver's hiking trails crisscross its many parks, the most famous of which is Stanley Park, which overlooks the coastline on one side. Be sure to take your Vancouver hiking route through Capilano Park. In addition to the ancient vegetation, the suspension bridge over the canyon of the same name is worth seeing here, as well as the many waterfalls. Don't forget to check out the Queen Elizabeth Botanical Park.
There are some interesting trails in and around Vancouver. For example, you can go down the Fraser Canyon in a special viewing booth, looking at nature and mountain tunnels. At the end of the descent, tourists can try their luck at gold prospecting.
