The cost of transportation in Qingdao, such as buses, varies depending on the comfort level:
- Regular bus: 1 CNY
- Minibus: 1.5 CNY
- Air-conditioned bus: 2-3 CNY
Local Transportation
If you prefer not to share a bus with other tourists, you can opt for a taxi. This is a much more convenient option, offering personalized transportation that can take you directly to your hotel entrance. During daytime hours (from 5:00 to 22:00), the taxi fares are as follows:
- First 4 kilometers: 7 CNY
- 1.2 CNY for each additional kilometer within 6 kilometers
- 1.8 CNY for each additional kilometer beyond 6 kilometers
If you plan to use taxi services at night (from 22:00 to 5:00), the rates differ as follows:
- First 3 kilometers: 7 CNY
- 1.6 CNY for the next 3 kilometers
- 2.2 CNY for each additional kilometer beyond 6 kilometers
