To get to the exotic resort of Jaco, Europeans will have to take air transportation. The closest airport to Jaco is in Costa Rica's capital, San Jose.
The official website of the San Jose airport reveals that it is considered the country's main air gateway. Even the inexperienced traveler will be able to quickly see where to find quick service, currency exchange, information desks, stores and souvenir stands.
The airport is the base for the national airline Sansa Airlines. Flights to Central and North America, and of course Europe, are operated from here.
