Beaches on the island of Brac

The island's coastline is one continuous beach, which in the summer season is littered with tourists. Brac has both organized recreation areas and wild beaches, as well as secluded corners where nudists gather. The covering is sand or small pebbles. Which beach on the island of Brac is better is up to you.

The pride of the resort is the beach Golden Horn (or Golden Cape) near the town of Bol. It deservedly holds the title of the most beautiful beach in Croatia and has the EU blue flag for exceptional cleanliness and environmental friendliness. People call the Golden Horn "liquid gold". Firstly, the coast is covered with pure fine sand of golden color. And secondly, at sea currents, strong wind, tide or low tide cape changes its contours. This is a great place for a vacation with children on the island of Brac. Pine forests shelter vacationers from the scorching sun, and the entrance to the sea is gentle.

Those who like to sunbathe naked should head to Paklina, which is separated from the other beaches by a series of rocky bays. There are a couple of nudist beaches in the northwest part of the island (between Supetar and Sumartin). These are Punat and Mutnik.

The beaches of Supetar are predominantly fine pebbles. The most comfortable are Vlacica and Banj. Here there are not only changing rooms, but also playgrounds, cafes, water entertainment. You can rent a beach chair or umbrella for about 15 HRK.
