The biggest danger on the island of Brac is not pickpockets and crooks (they are "exotic" here), but sea creatures. The first are sea urchins. They usually lie on the bottom. Hedgehogs are dark in color, so it is very difficult to distinguish them from simple stones. The sharp needles of these representatives of fauna are very easy to break. If you step on a hedgehog, it will be difficult to remove the "splinter". Wounds are often inflamed and aching. To avoid such troubles, stock up on special bathing (coral) slippers.
The second danger is sea dragons. They live in the muddy bottoms of bays and coves. If disturbed, they can sting with a thorn. Their venom is very dangerous. If you are stung, you should seek professional medical attention immediately.
