Prague International Airport (Letiště Václava Havla Praha) is situated in the suburban area of Ruzyně, approximately 20 km from the city center. It was named after the first Czech president, Václav Havel, and serves both domestic and international flights.

Bus
If you arrive during the daytime, you can take a bus to reach the subway stations that will take you to the city center. The recommended subway stations are Florenc, Muzeum, and Můstek.
If your flight arrives at night (after 24:00), you will need to take a bus and then a streetcar since the subway does not operate during the night.
- Where to Find Buses: You can catch shuttle buses at the stops opposite Terminals 1 and 2.
- Travel Time: It can take up to 50 minutes to reach the central area.
You can choose from the following bus routes:
Daytime (5:00 am to 12:00 am):
- Bus 119 - to Nádraží Veleslavín metro station (green branch A) or take streetcars #18, 20, 26 (fastest option, takes about 15 minutes).
- Bus 100 - to the metro station Zličín (yellow branch B) (takes about 20 minutes).
- Bus 191 - to Na Knížecí (yellow line B), Petřiny (green line A), Anděl (yellow line B) metro stations (takes about 40 minutes).
Nighttime (from 24:15):
- Bus 510 - to Divoká Šárka stop and change to streetcar number 91, which arrives in the center at Lazarská station (takes about 50 minutes).
Where to Buy a Ticket:
- Tickets are sold (valid for all public transport) at terminals at bus stops, and you can pay with coins or card only.
- Tickets can be purchased from the driver or from kiosks in the waiting areas.
- Tickets can also be purchased through SMS by sending a message to 90206 (the text depends on the choice of ticket: DPT24 - for half an hour, DPT32 - for an hour and a half, DPT110 - for 24 hours, DPT310 - for 72 hours). You will receive an electronic version of the ticket.
Ticket Prices (children under 6 years old and adults over 70 ride free):
- Ticket for 30 minutes:
- For adults: 24 CZK
- For children (6 to 15 years old): 12 CZK
- For seniors (65 to 70 years old): 12 CZK
- Children up to 6 years old and adults over 70 years old ride free of charge.
- Ticket for 1.5 hours:
- For adults: 32 CZK
- For children (6 to 15 years old): 16 CZK
- For seniors (65 to 70 years old): 16 CZK
You can also purchase tickets for a day or three days.
Transfers
Prague Airport Minibuses
Firm buses from the airport will take you to Národní 40, near the central metro station Mustek. This transportation is suitable for up to 7 people.
- Booking: You must book online a few days before your arrival on the website.
- Payment: Payment can be made either on-site or online.
- Cost: The cost of the minibus is 140 CZK for one person. If you book for 7 people, you will have to pay about 700 CZK.
CEDAZ Minibuses
This mode of transportation will take you to the V Celnici stop in the center. The bus has 20 seats.
- Cost: The cost per person is 150 CZK. Children under 6 years old accompanied by their parents travel free of charge.
- Schedule: The bus runs 7 days a week from 07:30 to 19:00, departing every half an hour.
- Buy a ticket: You can purchase a ticket from the driver or at kiosks with the name of the bus airport.
Taxis
Official taxi services in Prague include City Taxi, Taxi Praha, Halotaxi, Radiocab Cab, AAA, and Radiotaxi.
- Cost: You will need to pay the landing fee of 40 CZK plus the price per 1 km, which is about 25 CZK.
