Basic information about Samana

The northeastern region of the Dominican Republic, where Samana is situated, is a picturesque peninsula known for its untouched, pristine natural beauty. The population of Samana is predominantly concentrated in several towns and villages, including Las Terrenas and Las Galeras, situated at opposite ends of the Atlantic coast of the peninsula. These areas host the majority of Samana's hotels and are home to the peninsula's most popular beaches.
