Finland is not a nightlife and party country, so most nightclubs in Helsinki are either closed from Sunday to Wednesday or close at midnight. Average cocktails cost from 7 EUR and a glass of beer can be had for 5 EUR.
Popular places: Kuudes Linja, A21 Cocktail Lounge, Kaarle XII, Kokomo Tikibar and others. Another popular element of Helsinki's nightlife is bars with live music. Rock music can be heard at Tavastia or Loose, jazz at Storyville, and Irish music at Molly Malone Irish Bar.
Remember that entry to nightclubs and bars is allowed only from the age of 18, although some establishments set other age limits for their customers - 20, 22 and even 24 years. It is not superfluous to bring with you some document that proves your identity.
