Bourgas has 1 passenger air terminal with the same name. It is also known as Sarafovo Airport. The air terminal is engaged in international and domestic transportation, serving flights of Bulgarian and foreign airlines. It is located in the Sarafovo quarter of Burgas at a distance of 10 km from its center.
The airport terminal works mostly with international tourist and charter flights. The main load occurs from the beginning of April to the end of October. Burgas Airport is recognized as the second busiest in Bulgaria. Annually it receives about 3 million passengers.
On the territory of the airport terminal you can get medical insurance, exchange currency, visit a cafe or restaurant. Passengers can pass the time in comfortable lounges, as well as various stores, including Duty Free.
