Guangzhou is home to 1 Baiyun International Air Station. It is the base airport of China Southern Airlines. In addition, flights of more than 70 airlines, including 44 international airlines, arrive here. From the air terminal there are flights to about 100 destinations, mainly within the country. The air terminal is located 28 km from the city center of Guangzhou.
The airport building was opened in 2014 to replace the old one with the same name. The air station is the 2nd busiest in China and 19th busiest in the world. It serves more than 73 million passengers annually.
The airport provides a huge number of services. Passengers can use food outlets, ATMs, currency exchange points, Duty Free, mother and baby room, and other infrastructure facilities.
