Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is one of the largest aviation hubs in China. It is the 2nd busiest in the country and 19th busiest in the world. The annual passenger traffic of the air station is over 73 million passengers.

Opposite Terminal 1 is the luxurious Pullman Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Hotel. The Southern Airline Pearl Hotel and Guangsha Hotel are also a 5-minute drive away and can be reached by a free shuttle.
