South Korea is home to 108 airports, which also includes smaller airfields and heliports. 16 of the country's main airports have scheduled flights, and only 5 of them are international. These are Incheon, Jeju, Daegu, Gimpo, and Cheongju. Most international flights are served by Incheon, and all other airports operate Asian destinations.
Seoul, the capital of the country, has two large airports: Incheon and Gimpo. The latter serves only domestic flights. Both airports can be reached directly from the center of Seoul by subway. But it is faster to get to Incheon by train than by subway with two or three connections.
