Kuala Lumpur International Airport is one of the largest air hubs in Malaysia. It serves flights of more than 50 carriers within and outside the country. The air terminal holds the first place in terms of passenger traffic in Malaysia. It accounts for more than 37 million people a year.
The airport was designed by the famous Japanese architect Kise Kurokawa, who was one of the founders of the metabolist movement. The air station is located on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia at a distance of 54 km from the center of the capital of the country - the city of Kuala Lumpur.

The terminals are located 2 km from each other. They are connected by a railway line, which is used by KLIA Express and KLIA Transit trains. It takes 3-5 minutes to travel from one terminal to the other.
