Don Mueang Airport in Thailand's capital city is the world's largest airport for budget airlines. Opened after renovation in December 2015, the national terminal is a state-of-the-art facility serving flights including AirAsia, Thai Lion Air, Nok Air, etc.
The airport consists of two terminals (terminal layout):
Passengers arriving from domestic flights get to the second floor, to the baggage claim hall. Passengers arriving at the international terminal first pass through passport control (1st floor), only then go down for luggage.
