Milas-Bodrum International Airport is located in the southwest of Turkey. It is considered one of the largest in the Aegean region and has a capacity of up to 5 million passengers per year. The name of the airport is due to the fact that it is geographically located 16 kilometers south of Milias and 36 kilometers northeast of Bodrum in the province of Mugla.
The airport terminal is equipped with two runways. Milias-Bodrum Airport is regularly used by about 40 airlines for domestic and international routes. During the holiday season, a large number of charters are added to the regular flights.
