Dalaman International Airport is located in the southwest of Turkey. It is considered one of the largest in the country and serves more than 4 million passengers annually. The airport is located 260 km west of Antalya in the neighboring province of Muğla. The distance from the air terminal to the center of Dalaman city is 6 km.
The air terminal serves domestic and international flights to more than 120 destinations. It is capable of handling up to 35 flights simultaneously.
Dalaman Airport has 2 terminals:
- Terminal 1. It occupies the old terminal building and serves domestic airlines. It is equipped with 4 gates for disembarking and embarking passengers, as well as 18 check-in counters.
- Terminal 2. Located in a new four-level building and handles international flights. The top 2 levels contain the check-in counters and departure area, while the bottom 2 levels contain the arrival area. The terminal has 14 gates for disembarking and embarking passengers. 60 check-in desks allow to serve 4 thousand people per hour.
The domestic and international terminals are located at a distance of 500 meters from each other.
