Alpine skiing is a dangerous and traumatic activity. You should take skiing lessons before you start skiing. The Avoriaz ski area has three ski schools with a total of 200 ski instructors. Their professionalism and specialized approach will allow you to quickly learn the basics of skiing and have an excellent vacation experience.
Ski lessons are taught in groups or individually. Most instructors are multilingual for ease of communication. There are even professional instructors who speak Russian. Everyone can learn not only the basics of alpine skiing, but also freestyle skiing, snowboarding, flat skiing, telemark and snowshoeing.
